Large-format photography

Photographer Erwin Zijlstra commissioned M2uur bv to reproduce a selection of his Deventer photos in large format. A total of seven works were created, measuring 2 × 2 meters and 2 × 1 meters. The images were printed on Airtex – a high-quality, durable vinyl wall covering – and finished with profiles along the edges.

Strong local connection

All photos were taken in Deventer, making the works highly location-specific and immediately recognizable to residents and visitors. This not only reinforces the building’s identity but also fosters a sense of pride in the city.

Calm and cohesion

The images create a sense of calm and rhythm in the stairwell and unify the overall appearance. In addition, this permanent installation prevents residents from hanging loose wall decorations. The previously anonymous stairwell has thus been given a clear, coherent, and recognizable appearance.
