Official opening Ter Stegetunnel
Under great interest, the Ter Stegetunnel in Olst was festively opened on March 31. What makes this bicycle and pedestrian tunnel especially special? The artwork ‘The Time Machine’ can be admired there.

Artist Marina Nijdeken worked on the design for over a year. She portrayed the village’s inhabitants and invited elementary school pupils to color the backgrounds.
M2uur bv took care of the coordination, technical realization, production and assembly of the artwork.

‘The Time Machine’ transforms a generic tunnel into a unique connection. The exuberant, colorful works are a salute to the inhabitants and the village of Olst. They provide a cheerful celebration of recognition and thus contribute to the sense of safety of everyone using the tunnel.
